I thought this story would be one of those stories where MC would create a bunch of interesting stories in another world (one of my favourite themes) and start triggering an infrastructure craze (another one of my favourite themes). So what I thought would be a fusion of some of my favourite themes ended up amounting to…?
The mini-stories
Given that it’s got the “creating stories in another world” tag, there’s a bunch of mini story plots that get sprinkled in, which I skip some of the time. Some stories definitely had more influence than others, and the effects of them are pretty much the same as the synopsis, though the story itself might not actually fully describe it. This meant that it didn’t quite end up having the “infrastructure” feel I had from reading the synopsis, but the story wasn’t tagged that anyway so it was just my silly expectations I guess.
MC, ML and their relationship
MC’s personality is pretty good. He has a positive outlook in life and definitely shows kindness to others. Many of his stories influence society for the better. The only thing I didn’t really like was when ML pushes MC to become an official, MC doesn’t really step up quite right imo.
ML is 12 years older than MC. Well, sort of. MC’s body is 12 years younger, I think he was only 2-3 years younger in his original life. They don’t really talk about the age difference but I always do the math at the start (though I could be mistaking it for another story). ML supposedly likes MC fairly early, but definitely acts as the “elder” because of how young MC is. Fair enough.
Side characters
Some decent side characters. MC’s family has a bunch of kids. They’re pretty cute and have their own career lines.
Conclusion
This story was pretty good overall, not gonna lie. I was just a little disappoined that there wasn’t much on the infrastructure part (whatever I was expecting). There was a good amount of depth to the romance and career lines, and the progression of the story was pretty reasonable. MC made a real difference to many people’s lives and was pretty likeable!
