This is a story where MC raises ML through a game (this one kinda holographic). MC is essentially a new “God”, ML is a little pitiful guy who MC helps with.
MC, ML and their relationship
MC has a history of heart disease (I think) and is a kind/gentle person. He helps ML, but also many other people in the story. ML is pretty dependant on MC, so also a bit possessive. When he realises he likes MC, he does a lot of research to get closer to him, and when MC disappeared, he became a bit of a god slayer (slays the other gods) to try and bring MC back. I have mixed feelings that ML ended up the way he did during his god slayer days. However, I do appreciate that both MC and ML kinda leave the choice on whether to stay with each other (and give up their world).
Conclusion
This is yet another story where I conclude that it ended a bit weirdly. The story was overall fine, but towards the ending, it was a bit of an odd turn. I really like this theme in stories (raising your lover in a game and they come into reality), but I feel like very few of them end well except for one (unless I’m remembering it wrong). Oh well.
