This is a story where MC is a mecha designer who died, gets revived in the body of an escaped experimental subject who can’t control transitions between his human and tiger form.
MC, ML and their relationship
So yeah, MC is top mecha designer (and fighter), self-taught and kinda from the slums. He has a complicated past that has some degree of relation with his current state. ML is some kind of captain of the military who suspects MC is illegally keeping a tiger as a pet.
They basically start off as a suspecting-jabbing relationship, but rather slowly builds trust. Idk, it’s not that deep imo.
Conclusion
I’d say overall, I felt this story some decent promise (to be fair, it’s the author’s first completed work) which made it a bit regretful that it fell a bit short everywhere. I did not appreciate the long as flashback towards the end of the story, but the rhythm of the story felt pretty good overall.
I also have some nitpicking with the villain and how he died, but I’ll digress.
