Man, how did I not realise that this was exactly the kind of QT I love! I kept skipping over this one because of the title or something. But I gave it a go for real and definitely surprised me. Literally hit everything I want:
- Happy endings in every world and the couple grows old together
- MC isn’t completely dependent on the ML
- MC isn’t a heartthrob and there isn’t any love triangles/polygons even if some of them are obviously going to be unrequited!
- Not too frustrating because the MC feels too “passive”. I knooooow giving chances and slapping cannon fodder is all the rage, but a super long period where the MC “doesn’t care” is just not it…
MC, ML and their relationship
I really like how the MC went down the “fierce but cute route”! He’s so cute and loveable. To be honest the start…made him seem so unlikeable, but the more I read it the more I enjoyed it. I also like how MC’s “power” didn’t actually come from ML, as . Makes them a perfect match.
MC is so loveable, ML is well, your classic jug of vinegar. They roll the bed a good amount, and the progression is definitely pretty good. MC likes to nibble on ML (suck his blood) out of anger and when in bed and ML finds it a harmless and cute habit.
The mini-worlds
This story has many themes that hit the types I like. Nothing new tbh, but definitely a good collection of them! Here’s some of my favourite ones:
- First story is where MC is a 2D character game. Oh man I love that trope where one party raises the other in a game and spends a ton of money on it.
- MC becomes a orange munchkin cat in a story…help, it’s so cute! Oh, it’s also a zombie apocalypse one.
- Fierce baby dragon version! There was a really cool lady as a supporting cast in this one too.
Very wide grin while reading. :D
Conclusion
I loved this one, literally everything I want in a QT, and it’s super cute. Was a good read!
