Hmmm, I feel like this story jumped from a scale of decent to pretty bad… I feel like I didn’t really enjoy the story that much but somehow I finished reading it (I drop a lot of stories…)
This story had fairly skimmed over logic and I skipped a certain amount at the end, so I can’t say for sure, but it felt that some parts, like the system and the comment barrage wasn’t really explained well. I also feel like a lot of the story felt kinda off, maybe something about the character design and plot elements were just strange - like did it really need an entertainment plot?
MC, ML and their relationship
Both MC and ML are pretty crazy and paranoid in their relationship, and the MC is very obviously moreso. From the story, he appears to have been a long time thug (lackey to the original protagonist) with reduced intelligence due to various original plot related reasons. He then awakens, becoming super crazy and paranoid regarding ML. I personally felt he kept flipping between interesting, stupid (all brawn and no brains) to just weird (or supposedly kind since he found his life’s purpose in helping other cannon fodder change their lives). Perhaps his characer design was too OOC, so it didn’t really feel that good once I finished.
ML feels pretty useless overall except for emotional support. The romance is there but they remain at the ambiguous stage for most of the story. His ending character design was just the end for me…Nope for me.
Conclusion
Overall, this story just felt weird to me. I think I only finished it because I couldn’t find anything else to read. I wouldn’t recommend.
